BEFORE
WE BEGIN.
What we do, how we work and why a smaller creative partner can make a bigger difference.

Working with NOBE
What we make, who it is for and how flexible an engagement can be.
01What exactly does NOBE do?+
We help businesses become clearer, more distinctive and easier to choose. That can begin with strategy and positioning, continue through visual identity and brand systems, and become a website, online store, campaign or connected digital experience. You can bring us in for one focused need or ask us to shape the full journey from idea to launch.
02Who do you work with?+
Our natural fit is founders, independent businesses, ambitious shops, hospitality concepts, growing companies and small internal teams that want senior creative attention without a large-agency structure. We work especially well with people who care about the details, want a clear point of view and are ready to make decisions.
03Do you only build webshops?+
No. E-commerce is one part of our digital work. We also design and build business websites, campaign pages, portfolios and digital products, and connect them to booking, contact, analytics, email, payment and other business tools. Beyond digital, we work on brand strategy, identities, content direction, campaigns, search visibility and activation.
04Can we hire NOBE for design without consultancy?+
Yes. If the strategy is already sound, we can focus on visual identity, web design, campaign design or another clearly defined creative output. We will still ask the questions needed to make the work coherent, but we will not force a larger strategy exercise onto a project that does not need one.
05Can NOBE work alongside our existing team or partners?+
Absolutely. We can lead a complete project or plug into an existing team as the brand, design, digital or activation partner. We define responsibilities early, keep communication direct and make sure the work feels like one connected system rather than a collection of hand-offs.

Scope, speed & budget
Why a leaner structure changes the pace, attention and economics of the work.
01What makes NOBE different from other agencies?+
NOBE combines boutique creative craft with broad digital and business experience. The people thinking about the work stay close to the people making it, so the original idea does not get diluted through layers of account management. We care about a distinctive brand, but also about whether it is useful, fast, understandable and ready to perform in the real world.
02How can you scale quickly at the right price?+
We keep the core team senior and compact, use modern tools and AI deliberately, and bring in specialist support only when the work genuinely requires it. That removes much of the overhead, waiting time and internal theatre of a traditional agency. You pay for focused thinking and execution, not a large permanent structure. Scope, timing and budget still need to be realistic, but the model lets us move with unusual speed without treating quality as optional.
03How much does a project cost?+
It depends on the level of strategy, the number of deliverables, technical complexity and how much already exists. We define the scope before work begins and make the trade-offs visible, so you know what is included and why. Our pricing configurator gives you a useful first indication before we talk.
Build a first estimate ↗04How quickly can we launch?+
A focused landing page can move very quickly; a new brand, commerce build or connected digital product needs more time. Speed comes from a tight scope, direct access, fast feedback and clear decision-makers. Once we understand the work, we set a practical rhythm and tell you where delay or complexity is likely to appear.
05Do you take on smaller or phased projects?+
Yes. A focused first phase is often the smartest way to begin. We can sharpen a proposition, create a campaign page, improve one important customer journey or establish the core identity before expanding. The phase should still produce something coherent and useful, not merely a disconnected fragment.

Brand & beginnings
The thinking behind the name, the mask and the first conversation.
01What does NOBE mean?+
NOBE comes from Japanese and means “open field” or “meadow” (野辺). It represents space, freedom and creativity. Just as an open field creates room for something new, we create room for strong brands and digital experiences to take shape. Whether the result is a precisely designed webshop or a strategic transformation plan, NOBE begins with freedom, vision and the nerve to build something new.
02Why the Japanese mask?+
The mask is a visual counterweight to the openness in our name: bold, memorable and impossible to ignore. It expresses transformation, character and controlled intensity. We use it as a creative signature, not as a costume; the work itself is always shaped around the client rather than forced into one house style.
03Where do you work?+
NOBE is based in Belgium and works across Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia, as well as with clients elsewhere in Europe. The site is English-led, but our work is built for Belgium's multilingual, design-aware market and can be developed in Dutch, French and English where the project needs it.
04What do you need from us to get started?+
A perfect brief is not required. Tell us what exists today, what feels wrong or missing, what needs to change in the business, and any deadline or budget boundary we should understand. We can help turn that into a clear scope, priorities and a sensible first move.
[ STILL A QUESTION? ]
GOOD.
LET’S TALK.
Tell us what you are building, changing or trying to solve. We will give you a direct answer and a sensible next step.
